Bike Route Planner
Terms of service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
These terms apply to Bike Route Planner at bike.tecu.ch, operated by Ionut Tecu. By signing in you agree to them.
The service
The app is a private planning tool for invited cyclists. Access is by invitation except for the operator's admin account. We may change, suspend, or stop the service at any time.
Accounts
You must use a Google or GitHub account you are allowed to use, and not share your session. An authenticator app is optional. If you enable it, keep it safe. We may disable accounts that abuse the service.
Itineraries are not advice
Generated routes, maps, distances, hotels, tips, and official Swiss bike-route numbers are for general information and trip planning only. They can be wrong or out of date. They are not professional navigation, safety, or travel advice, and they are not a substitute for the swisstopo or SwitzerlandMobility apps. You must check local rules, weather, road closures, and ride within your skill and your bicycle's limits.
Map data
The planner uses OpenStreetMap (base map and bicycle routing), Photon/Nominatim (places), and federal Swiss geodata from geo.admin.ch — SwitzerlandMobility / FEDRO Veloland and Mountainbikeland — for numbered official bike routes and map overlays. Those datasets remain the property of their publishers and are used under their published terms, with attribution. Google Maps opens only if you choose that export.
Liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranties. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the app or any itinerary, including shared HTML and PDF reports. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other people's accounts or rides, overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful. Public share links are your responsibility.
